Roti Telur Bawang Chili Tomato - Alif Bistro, BT 11

Roti Telur Bawang(onion) is a famous Malaysia food. You can easily order one at any Mamak stall. A simple dish which is delicious and not too filling.

Looks like a normal Roti Telur?

Surprise! Its prepared with Egg, Onion, Chili, Tomato! It taste terrific! Its taste like omelet but much better as it contains bird eye chili. A prefect dish for people who likes chili :D

Should you try? Yes! In fact only Alif Bristo serve this roti. I tried order in other mamak stall they don't seems to know what I am talking about.

Pan Mee - Taman Midah

We are at Papa Rich earlier but gotten hungry and came over to Taman Midah for supper.

This stall open until 11pm at night. The owner has been selling Pan Mee for almost 10 years now. My friend is a regular customer. For me, this was my first encounter.

Yes, the plate looks funny? Its like what I used to cook for my dog. I mean the plate, not the food. Oh damn! Anyway the taste? Moderate. There nothing special about the mee nor the chili.

Should you try? No need. Its better if you can visit "Avenue K food court Pan Mee!"

Fried Oyster in SK Food Court Serdang

It was a cool and breezy night. We went back to SK Food Court Serdang.

Decided to a stall which we never ordered before. We choose Fried Osyster. (something seems to be wrong at the pricing)

The cook first make a layer of crispy skin. Then added egg and spring onions.

It turn our to be like Tosai Telur. As ugly as it look, it taste awful too.

Should you try?  NOOOOOoooo!!

Pine Forest Restaurant, Goh Tong Jaya, Genting

Father's day. We went Genting Highland to celebrate father days but dad stayed at home instead.
So father is happier staying at home celebrating father's day without us :D

Karak highway has street light after all these years. Its pretty bright!

After an hour drive we reach Goh Tong Jaya. Stopped at Pine Forest Desert Restaurant.

Prices are slightly more expensive but Asam Laksa is only RM4.50!

Looks ugly but its a mixture of desert and taste pretty special!
Red bean, green bead, wheat, corn and etc. All mix up together!

Now the actual red bean desert.

Creamy Wheat

Creamy Peanut

Black Glutinous rice

Glutinous Rice with Chicken

White Fungus and Dates

Fried Kuey Teow - very delicious and spicy too! I can feel the spicy sensation all over my body except the hair!

Very delicious and filling popiah but spicy too!

Normal fried siu kow

Normal Fried Tow foo

We clear everything.

First team's damage.

Chu Cheong Fun.

HK Chu Cheong Fun

Asam Laksa - Only RM4.50. Its consider cheap as normally people will double up the price when selling any dishes in Goh Tong Jaya

Second Team said they are still hungry. So they went for steamboat stall which is right across the restaurant.

Uncle is cooking beacon for us.

Then we decided to BBQ it on our own.

My favorite Kang kung (water spinach) together with foo pei (fried beancurd skin)

Its ready to eat!

Then we head to Genting Highland. First thing we did was go coffee bean. Its already 1am and the queue is like Great Wall of China

For 10 years, I only drink Mocha Ice Blend. Used to be RM8 when I first tried in Singapore.
It becomes an expensive drink now.

Yummy!!

Should You Try Pine Forest Desert? Yes if you are on the way to Genting. Remember to ask for less spicy or it will spoilt the taste!

Coffee Bean? Come on, you haven't tried coffee bean before?

Yao Yao Ping, Pandamaran

After our lunner (lunch + dinner) hahaha we went for dessert.

Yao Yao Ping is a famous desert stall in Klang. This was their first branch.

You hardly see the boss. They have about 13 works (maybe some hiding at the kichen)

Food is relatively same price as those you find in Pasar Malam. Here, they have friend chicken, burger, hotdog, etc.

Yummy!
Frying chicken non-stop!

Most drinks are sold out.

Left longan and lychee. Yao Yao Ping is an ice-blended drink but how's its made, I have no idea. Googling can always help.

The interior of the restaurant.

Should You Try? Yes, and remember to order "red bean" and "sour plum". These are the hot sellers!

Pelama Seafood, Port Klang

Saturday! Its weekend! (duh) This means we are not working! We decided to travel further away from our usual eating place. This time we went to Pandamaran, Klang!

But ended up here at Pelama Seafood, Port Klang. This place is not easy to be found. But lucky I am a walking GPS.  In Wikimapia link, the structure with blue roof is the restaurant

Its only 4pm but the restaurant is almost full of people.

While waiting for the food, I took this chance to show off my photography skill.

This photo should be taken in spehia or black and white.

See closely, I am taking photographs of the crabs - not the bottle (camera phone has no optical zoom)

If you squat down and not move for 5mins, creatures will come to you.
Seriously, i was literally holding camera 8cm away from this crab.

Mud Skipper! In China, this fish is a delicacy.

Yes, I caught a crab! But the chief said its too big to fry. So I let it go after finish eating.

This should have been the first photo :D

One of their favorite mee + curry. The clay pot curry contains fish, vegetables and tofu. The taste is just like curry mee. Nothing really special. Beware of fish bone thought.

The most common dish - sweet potato leave cooked with garlic.

Deep fry mantis shrimp with dry chili (kong pow lai liew har). The dry chill goes well together with the crispy shrimp.

Glass prawn cook with sweet sour sauce. I like this dish a lot. You don't have to peel off the shell! Its edible!

You cannot tell people went for seafood if you didn't order crab. We order soft shell crab and hard shell crab (huh?) but luckily the chief forgotten to cook the hard shell crab - we are so full! This soft shell crab is deep fried with salty egg. Must try if you like unhealthy food! Salty and oily! I love it!

Should You Try? Yes, and please order the soft shell salty egg & glass shirmp!

** During high tide, the carpark is unaccessible.
