Important thing you should know
- Reserved 150,000 IDR for passenger service charge when leaving Bali. You pay at the airport.
- Bargain is a must when you buy anything.
- Macaque in Uluwatu are wild and will snatch anything which is easily removed (hair clip, glasses, bracelet, sandals) Bring along big packets of junk food to in exchange of your belongings
- In Jimbaran, order a la carte instead of set meal. It would be cheaper.
- Get a GPS because some areas do not have road signs.
- Go Carrefour to stock up lots of cheap mineral water if your hotel does not provide.
- Take metered taxi such as Blue Bird
- Entrance fee, toll (2000 IDR) and parking fee (2000 IDR) is a must when operator comes to collect.
- Most Balinese can speak English and Japanese.
