Arrived at Denpasar airport. Our driver Ketut, came to pick us up. We headed straight to Tune Hotel, Legian Bali.
First thing I notice in Bali, everyone drives a Toyota.
1.30pm
Lunch at Ayam Presto Malioboro. The restaurant served deep fried soft bone chicken. What do you mean soft bone? It means bones which are soft to eat :D. The bone texture is like peanut crisp cake. The chicken meat is soft too.
Hot sauce is mild - not too spicy, not too sweet.
Ayam presto telur asin is special but not delicious. The salted egg make the smooth soft chicken becomes coarse.
Teh Soros, it widely accepted local tea. I still prefer Lipton.
We ordered:
64,000 IDR - half chicken Presto Telur Asin.
48,000 IDR - half chicken Presto fried chicken
16,000 IDR - two white rice
13,000 IDR - mango sambal
7,000 IDR - Teh Sosro
7,000 IDR - Aqua mineral bottle.
Should you try? YesEven though its expensive and not delicious compared to KFC or ayam rempah goreng but it is unique and found only in Indonesia.

We went to Rama Krisna which sells oleh oleh. They are not football fans but oleh-oleh means gift. Shop was under renovation during my visit. There are not really much things to see. The atmosphere is like Melakok (Melaka + Bangkok)
Some junk food which I've not seen before - sea cucumber and eel
Should you go? No.Instead, tell you driver to go nearby Carrefour. Stock up mineral water, local junk food & Indomie! 4:00pm
New Kuta Beach or Dreamland Beach, belongs to Tommy Suharto, the youngest son of the former President Suharto. It a place for surfing. The place is dirty and totally wasted my time.

Should you go? No.Unless you like surfing with rubbish and enjoy being a laughing stock when you fall off the surf board with 100 pairs of eyes looking at you. If that is you, visit Funny Now

Uluwatu temple has amazing scenery, crazy macaque and cliff similar to Australia Bight. Entry fee is 3000 IDR
Only difference is, the cliff has more plants then Australia Bight (just photoshop the shrubs to brown color)
Its hard being a macaque. So they drink often.
Almost... reach the beer can..
Once they found a prey..
Macaque is a professional mugger. Once they stole your belongings, you can bribe them with food. Do not give them peeled banana or a piece of bread. Be generous, they want food which are still in seal like a pack of junk food, a can drink or a loaf of bread (1 piece is not enough!)
Remember to secure you belongings such as glasses, camera, hair clips, ear ring, hat and sandals.
Should you go? Yes. Its one of the best place to visit in Bali.
6:30pm
Jimbaran is famous for seaside dinner. We ate at Blue Ocean Seafood.
Do not order set meal which cost 800,000 IDR. Instead go a la carte.
14,000 IDR /100gm - Red snapper
8000 IDR/100gm - Muscles.
25000 - Coconut
Rice and vegetables are free.
Total damage done only 216,000 IDR.
The sauce goes well with both vegetables (kang-kung) and bbq fish.
Should you go? Yes. Try all the sauces they give you too! Though the beach is dirty, just try to look at the horizon and enjoy the romantic moment.

Return back to Tune Hotel. The room is small. Toilet doors could not be lock. Contain ugly in rood advertising poster. No electric water boiler!
They provide (one) international electric outlet and (two) Indonesia socket.
The shower is good -large volume of water flow!
Pigeon hole room with advertisement - not just one but 3!!
Wish it was real
Should you stay there? No, unless you're budget traveling or planned to break up with your partners. This room will definitely do the trick. Note: There is no electric water boiler in the whole hotel!
