This is a typical Chu Cheong Fun stall. Taste ok but the crowd makes the food taste nicer. Hahah
Should you try? No. Nothing special.
Anyone who goes Tanjung Sepat will need to buy Hai Yew Heng Pao as proof that you have been to Tanjung Sepat. Remember to go there early. Usually there is no Pao left at about 4pm. If would be better to make reservation first before you visit the place. Pao means steam buns in chinese.
See, branding is always important.
This is the salted vegetable pao.It taste salty, sweet and crunchy. But its not my favorite.
This black looking thing must be black sesame. Maybe red bean. Can't remember.
This odd looking one "sang yoke pao" simple means meat bun.
Should you try? Yes and please call them and make reservation at 019-643 6043 or 012-272 9009. Open from 1.00pm-6.00pm.
** Note, being customer unfriendly is a trend in Malaysia when one become famous. So do not smile at them when you talk. Just get your pao, pay them and leave ;)
If you were to ask, Serdang Pao infront of HSCB is still the best :D
Before I show you the Pan Mee, let me introduce you Roti Boy .... SANDWICH! Hahaha. YOU expecting Mexican Bun huh? Come on, Mexican Bun is the past.
The gem of the day is "Sandwich". I used to eat this sandwish when it was RM1.50. Now? Its already Rm2.20 each. Why is the sandwich so delicious? Its creamy, full of flavor and the tuna is flaky.
OK after my sandwich, I walked over to Avenue K. There's only one food court in Avenue K. Ask the guard if you are lost.
See how long the queue is? That is the reason why I bought sandwich as appetizer hahaha.
Take note of the stall name. It called "Penang Food"
The menu is simple. Forget the rest and ask for " Dry Pan Mee"
See! Everyone order the same dish!
Look at how many workers the stall have to prepare food for the crowd.
Why is the Pan Mee delicious? The mee is cook just right, dry and a little wet but not soggy. Ample anchovies, fried onions, spring onions and veggies. Oh the sambal belacan is very delicious too!
Should You try? Yes and its a must when you go KLCC!
Kayu Nasi Kandar at Chow Yang, SS2 is a famous mamak stall. One of the obvious reason is the extra large roti tissue.
OK, to your easy viewing, I've make the roti stand on its feet. The most important issue now. Is this thing delicious? Yes! Crispy, sweet and it makes you loose some calorie while eating because you have to keep standing up to peel the top off (opps..)
Should you try? YES!
There is something special about this restaurant. I gave me a homey feeling like the food my parents used to cook.
